We believe that bright and gifted children deserve a place where they can grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially with like-minded peers.
At our micro-school, we have created a safe place where gifted children are free to develop both their skills and knowledge at their own pace.
We support children in our weekly program by upholding our core values and by respecting the interest-led, democratic approach that is integral to Stanton Academy programs . We understand the unique needs of gifted children and are committed to meeting those needs.
Curious about what happens during our daytime enrichment program at Stanton Academy?
Before the year begins, children meet to decide what they will investigate during the upcoming year. Because of this democratic, interest-led process, areas of study change from year to year and are unlikely to repeat themselves. To give you an idea of the areas of study the curious children in our program have chosen in the past, we have listed some of their choices below.
Could You Live Underwater?: problem-based learning challenge
FIRST Lego League Junior: Mission Moon
personal expression through art/new art techniques

Escape Pompeii: problem-based learning challenge

Many children in the Stanton Bright & Gifted program attend a public or private school part-time and attend our program as a way to enrich their educational experience. Please contact us if this is an option you would like to explore. If extended hours are required, please let us know.
