Everything Lego Camp! *AND MORE*

July 13-17, 9:00 - 3:00 (extended hours available)
Fee: $220.35

We accept PayPal, e-transfer, and credit card payment.

We love Lego! For one awesome week in July, we will be hosting an EVERYTHING Lego week where kids will get to work and play with the world's best toy!

Throughout the week, kids will be able to do the following with Lego:
  • learn about simple machines and how they work
  • use Lego robotics kits to learn about the Engineering Design Process
  • build and program robots using Lego WeDo 2.0, Lego Boost, & Lego Mindstorms
  • choose from a great variety of Lego Creator and. Lego Technic sets to build something new each day
  • unleash their creativity through Lego storytelling and green screen animation
  • participate in Lego engineering challenges

And MORE!
For returning campers and new campers alike, we've expanded our selection of building materials for their creative enjoyment. Campers will love the opportunity to build more using other materials including Vex Robotics, Makedo, makerspace materials, STEM bridges and K'Nex constructions.

We'll also spend time outdoors with time to explore, enjoy the sunshine, play games, and swim each day (weather permitting).

What campers should know:
  1. Every camper will be able to use his or her own materials. If they choose to work with a partner, that's cool too.
  2. Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, and water bottle each day. Bring a flotation device if you are not yet swimming or talk to the leader before the session starts.
  3. Bring 1-2 snacks and a healthy lunch. We're going to need lots of brain fuel for our awesome inventions!
  4. This group will be small so the leader can give everyone the attention they deserve and so that we have lots of opportunities for real, hands-on learning.

This camp will be organized by Beth Mai, the first and most experienced FIRST Lego League Junior mentor in London and proud coach of both provincial-level and world-class Lego robotics teams.
